It's a new start.

Looked at my phone today and my countdown says it's 34 days till me and Carl move to Sweden. People keep asking me if I'm excited about going back home, to be close to my family and friends again. I am, but I'm also sad leaving my friends and family here. I like it here. I love it here, but we both think Sweden will be better for us. And besides, with Carl's family living here and Carl still working for Procure Wizard we'll be back over all the time. And for everyone who's never been to England - It's an awesome holiday place if you like shopping and relaxing in pubs with some friends.

The other thing people ask me is what am I going to do in Sweden. To be honest i have no idea. I have a project I've just started, well it's a company but it's not registered yet so I'll call it a project till it's started up properly. It's also a bit of a secret but you'll find out what it is pretty soon.

But clever as I am, I know starting up a company won't be enough money to live on so I will need another job as well. I'm looking at the moment but I find it really hard writing my CV. My job I'm doing now is hard to describe, it says System support in my contract but i do everything really. I don't think system support is a fitting role title for my job anymore. And I don't really know where to start looking for jobs. What do i go for? Do i settle for a job is a shop like Asda or do i go for it and apply for jobs where i see myself growing and getting somewhere in life?

All it makes me think is how lucky I was to get the job I have now. It's a great job and I'm in the same office as my boyfriend. And I'm actually surprised how well it's worked. I mean not everyone can be around their partner 24/7 without going insane. Haha. I guess it just works when you're crazy in love and happy with each other.

I am really looking forward to going to Sweden, it's like we're starting over, making our lives better. I think our lives will have a better quality in Sweden. If you think about jobs and starting your own thing Sweden is ideal. Sweden supports the small people to do good. I really like that. Sweden is also a lot better when it comes to housing and starting a family. Not that I am plopping out a little one anytime soon but you know at some point in the next couple of years it will probably happen.

I think Sweden will be really good for us. I think it's the right decision and I am really looking forward to it.

This is Mariestad, a small city pretty close to Gothenburg, this is where we will start our lives in Sweden.
